On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me immense joy to welcome you to the 10th International Conference on Health Professions Education (ICHPE) 2026. Ten years ago, ICHPE began as a project close to my heart, with a simple aspiration to create a space where educators could come together to learn, share, and grow. To see it reach its tenth anniversary, welcome colleagues from around the world, and grow into a recognised name in health professions education is both deeply rewarding and a moment of great pride. This journey would not have been possible without the remarkable teams who have brought each conference to life. Their commitment, creativity, and enthusiasm have allowed ICHPE to grow with every year, while remaining rooted in its original spirit of learning and sharing. This year’s theme, “Joyful Learning: Creating Happy Learning Environments for Students and Faculty,” feels particularly fitting as we celebrate this milestone. I invite you to join us in celebrating a decade of ICHPE, while sharing ideas, building connections, and creating new possibilities for the decade ahead. We look forward to welcoming you to ICHPE 2026 at The University of Lahore.

On behalf of the Scientific Committee, it is my privilege to warmly welcome you to ICHPE 2026. This year’s theme, “Joyful Learning: Creating Happy Learning Environments for Students and Faculty,” highlights the importance of creating learning environments where students and faculty can engage, thrive, and grow. ICHPE brings together educators, clinicians, researchers, and students committed to advancing health professions education through research, innovation, and collaboration. Our programme features internationally renowned speakers, along with symposia, plenaries, workshops, and paper and poster presentations addressing curriculum design, assessment, simulation, the judicious use of AI, interprofessional education, and leadership. I encourage you to participate actively, share ideas, and connect with colleagues from across the globe. May ICHPE 2026 inspire new ideas, meaningful collaborations, and practical approaches to creating joyful learning environments that strengthen education and healthcare outcomes.
