A surgeon by training Professor Idrees has held the positions of Head of surgery and Dean at Rawalpindi Medical University, Pakistan.
He has retired as Pro Vice Chancellor from RMU.
He has dedicated his life to the education of undergraduate and postgraduate doctors.
He is visiting faculty at the MME program at University of Lahore and several program through out the country in both medical education and surgery.
