Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Shamim has an M.B.B.S, F.C.P.S, F.R.C.S, PGD Bioethics, M.H.P.E, and Ph.D. in Medical Education from UNSW, Sydney, Australia. He has more than 25 years of work experience and has been providing educational/clinical services in various countries in Asia, Europe, and Africa. His main areas of work include curriculum management, teaching, and learning strategies, bioethics education, and faculty development through training and motivation. He has developed a framework “Contextually Relevant Ethics Education Model (CREEM)” for teaching bioethics in the developing country context. He is an avid researcher with more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and a training manual.
