Dr. John R. Boulet, Ph.D
Dr. Boulet joined ECFMG in 1996 as a Psychometrician for the ECFMG Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA) program. Later, he served as ECFMG’s Director of Test Development and Research. As Vice President for Research and Data Resources, ECFMG, he conducts and supervises research projects related to the employment and migration of international medical graduates, and serves as a consultant in the administration, scoring, and validation of various performance-based assessments. Dr. Boulet serves on the Editorial Boards for Advances in Health Sciences Education: Theory and Practice, Medical Education, Education for Health, and Simulation in Healthcare. He is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University, and a Senior Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Department of Medical Education, College of Medicine.
Dr. Boulet holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a graduate of the University of Ottawa with an M.A. in Education and a Ph.D. in Education – Measurement and Evaluation.
