• Demonstrate providing effective feedback
• Realize the importance of giving timely verbal feedback to the learners
• Identify the challenges in providing verbal feedback
Session
Introduction and Workshop Overview
Session Plan:
• Facilitator introduces himself; and other facilitators
• Introduction of the participants
• Overview of the workshop is given with briefing of the objectives
Role play
• Participants will be divided into groups of 3 or 4 (1 or 2 observer, 1 faculty,1 learner)
• Each group is provided with a scenario
• Discussion on scenarios

Session Plan:
Facilitator asks participants about problems/issues faced during documentation and puts all the responses on flip chart.
The facilitator asks about
• Challenges that they face as they provide feedback to the learners
• What is the response of the learners to the feedback provided
• At what level of the rotation is the feedback been provided
• When do they think is necessary for the feedback to be provided to the learners
• If they think is necessary for learning agenda
• What are their recommendations for providing timely feedback
Principles of Effective Feedback
• The facilitator gives a presentation on Principles of feedback
